AFARM Pune, Usha International Delhi and ISWS with collaboration implementing this program in Pardibandh, Dhakni, Gangazari, Fattepur, Habutola (Birsi), Lodhitola (Chu), Kindgipar (Dongargaon), Jabbartola, Sejgaon (Khu) and Kharra villages from Gondia block of Gondia district Obtain the consent of the woman entrepreneur that her house would be used for running the USHA Silai School.Ensure the proper maintenance of the USHA Silai School. Be the interface between AFARM, woman entrepreneur and the village community Facilitate in establishing a rapport between AFARM and the villagers.Introduce the Silai School programme to the villagersHelp in the identification of the Silai School teacher. Motivate women to become the Silai School teachers called women entrepreneurs.
In association with NABARD, ISWS form 340 women & Men JLG in 4 blocks ( Gondia, Amgaon, Salekasa & Goregaon of Gondia District. JLG included BPL and Non-BPL, poor and needy members for business purpose . Linking with VKGB bank , providing loan from bank to
132 JLG.
The program is being implemented by Zilla Parishad Gondia and ISWS under the central government with the objective of providing clean drinking water to all households. It is being implemented to solve water related problems and make people aware about it. to make the village water planning in the village. ISWS is working in 40 gram panchayats of salekasa block. For this, various activities such as going from village to village to create awareness and see the umbilical cord connection have been started in the village through Jal Jeevan Mission program.
